Due to the current design being fairly rigid and not very user friendly and efficient, Qwibble has designed a brand spanking new feel for the website. So that we can get some user feedback to improve it before it is released official on the site, it has been entered in Nexon's biweekly image contest.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could go to http://forum.nexoneu.com/NXEU.aspx?g=posts&t=75682, look at the image linked in the opening post, and comment your ideas and thoughts about the concept design as a whole. It's one post per ip, so make sure you get what you want into one post. All posts will be read and action taken where appropriate so make sure you voice is heard.

Also sorry for the recent downtime, we had some server issues, but those have been resolved.

So finally, we can proudly present our first tool on the site. Though it isnt really ours, it's great to have here for the community. These rankings are arguably better than even Nexon's, as they display not only weekly and all time, but daily and monthly on top of those two. Hosted by combatarms-rank.com, the ranks come with their original country selector.

We are proud to provide the majority of current rank types that Nexon show, and more, as we also show flags captured and recovered, and accolades. We are hoping to expand this even further in the future to show every ranking that Nexon shows currently.

The search function also works, although different from that of combatarms-rank.com. Instead of a dropdown menu, you simply enter the name and hit search. It will find the player you have entered, and highlight their name in a bronze bar, for easy use.

Combat Arms US has recieved its major patch, including all these new changes. Have a read and take note, because it is highly likely we will see them coming in the near future.

Operation: Overdose

SITREP: The physiological stress and fatigue caused by the ongoing war has left soldiers deserting in droves and showing a lack of respect for their superior officers. In a controversial step to boost mercenary morale, high ranking officers authorized development of a stamina drug using a promising new organic sample. When the final product was being prepared for mass production, the first and only surviving test subject had an abnormal and untested dosage enter their bloodstream. The cause of the accident has yet to be determined, but shortly thereafter, the local security response team sent transmissions warning of a severe physical threat and potential outbreak situation. Before the transmissions were abruptly terminated, they alluded to the remainder of the drug sample left intact in the research center. The research center has been shut down by the Automatic Quarantine System, and an infiltration mission by Special Forces has been called upon in order to retrieve the drug sample.

Im jdwilsh or jd for short. I used to run the old site with Carl for those who remember. Now i've kind of dubbed myself server admin but hopefully i'll become a bit more than that soon if there is any interest in this post!

To cut a long story short, I'm sure all you guys can understand that this website doesn't pay for itself. While we aren't looking for ways to make a profit out of this website, it would be good if it was to pay for itself. So I have an idea that would help us all out.

If we were to start selling off sub-domains of our website to clans, set up a content management system (CMS) for you and then give you access to it, would anyone be interesting in paying for that kind of service? Your website would be something along the lines of http://clanname.combatarms-eu.com. You would also get either a nick@clanname.combatarms-eu.com email address or possibly a nick@combatarms-eu.com depending on the package.

We would offer 2 different types of CMS as standard, ClanTiger and webSPELL. We would obviously offer support in the themes/templates department. I have a copy of clantiger installed on my own website for you to test out. You can access it at: http://clantest.jdwilsh.com/

Different types of CMS would be available on request (Joomla for example). There is a large list of the different CMS's available here. You can test some of the CMS's through that site also. There would be extra charges depending on the CMS though due to more backend work.

Nexon Europe have finally come around to releasing their official Quarantine Mode Trailer for Combat Arms. The video features the two specialists; Viper and Scorpion, who are seen fighting the zombies.

Don't be confused by the fact the two pieces of map closely resemble Death Room, and Snow Valley; it certainly doesnt mean that these two maps will be playable as we've already confirmed with nexon that they wont be. We can only guess that they it means the new map has taken certain aspects from both these maps.

Hello, and welcome to the official release of combatarms-eu.com. It's been several months in the works, but we are finally here, and its about time =) Along with release, we've bought you plenty of interesting pieces of content which can be seen below, and in the rotating banner above.

Plenty content wasn't released along with the site, so expect to see more interesting stories, tools, and so on popping up over the next few months; we have plenty to offer, they just take time to complete properly. Trust me, they'll be worth the wait...

I'm sure you've all heard about the upcoming Zombie style mode that is due to hit our monitors in the August patch. Several images and a small amount of information was leaked by a Nexon US employee, and this is where we all first heard about it. From what we read there, the new mode, named Quarantine Mode, is a battle between humans and zombies. The object of the game, as a human, is obviously, to survive the zombies, whilst its the job of the zombies, to eliminate all humans before the round ends. We also learnt that this new mode will come with a new map, and new weapons.

With such a big upcoming patch, and so little information to feed on, we felt that it was time to learn more from Nexon...
